Old Orchard Primary School are supporting Anglicare Victoria with their FoodBoost campaign this winter.  By collecting donations of non perishable food items, we are hoping to help take hunger off the table of people and families who are struggling to survive as the cost of living continues to skyrocket.  

Our donations will help stock up Anglicare Victoria's pantries and keep their food vans full and on the road, so they can help hungry people through the toughest times.

The most needed items are listed below.  If you are able to help please bring your donation/s to the boxes located near the front office.

Hats Are Back!

From 2nd September hats are required to be worn by all students when outside.  Students without a hat from this day will need to be in the "no hat, no play" area for break times.  Students are encouraged to start bringing their Sunsmart school hat each day from now.

Junior Concert Recording

Excitement is building for our Junior Concert which is happening next Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Each performance will be professionally filmed (please note the taking of photographs/videos is not permitted during the performance).  Here is the link for ordering USBs and MP4 digital downloads of our concert.

Pricing is as follows:   MP4 Digital Download - $25.00    USB - $35.00

Ordering is now open and will close on Friday 11th October at midnight. Everyone will receive their orders the following week.  MP4 Links will be emailed directly to the email address supplied when ordering and USB copies will be delivered directly to the school and will be sent home with your child.

Art Room Donation Requests

We are looking for cereal boxes (flattened) and plastic meat/poultry trays (washed) for the art room.

Heidi is also looking for cross stitch supplies for a lunchtime sewing club.  She is looking for donations of aida cloth, sewing hoops, DMC/Anchor cottons in various colours and simple cross stitch patterns.  Thank you!
