Interschool Sport Regional Netball Finals

Yesterday the Girls and Mixed netball teams played off at the School Sport Victoria Regional finals. Both teams played incredibly all day, making it through to their respective grand finals undefeated. There was some incredibly tough competition and our Girl’s team finished the day second in the Region with a tough four-goal loss in the grand final. The Mixed team faced a close game, but managed to take out the Regional title, meaning they will progress to the State Finals later this year. We are so proud of all the students in both teams - a momentous effort all around!

Thank you to Miss Fraser and Miss Gommers for coaching the teams and we look forward to hearing how the Mixed Team progresses later in the year.

100 Treats for 100 Days of School

A fortnight ago, at Prep Assembly, our Prep students celebrated their 100th day of school. At the assembly, they shared all of their '100 themed' activities. During the Principal's Welcome, they were challenged to do some extra homework!

Here is Sophie from PKB enjoying 100 pieces of popcorn. We loved how Sophie and her grandmother incorporated a 10 x 10 array and 100s chart.

"My mum and I were at the Prep Assembly on Friday and mum loved the homework Christian set for the Preps over the weekend to find and count out 100 treats.

She decided to do it with Soph after school yesterday and thought you might like to see her efforts to make a table and count out 100 pieces of popcorn before eating them all!".
