Burnie Arts are fortunate enough to be bring Opera Australia to the stage on 3 September with their production La Boheme.  With this production is the chance for local children to join them on stage in a children's choir.  This choir will be lead by Caroline Smith from Encore Performing Arts.

To be part of this choir, children need to be between the ages of 9 years old and 14 years old on the day of the performance and be able to attend as many rehearsals as possible on Sundays 4.00pm to 5.00pm, and be available for rehearsal with Opera Australia on Monday 2  September.  Spaces are limited.

If you require any other information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Touch football is a sport for everyone. A great opportunity to exercise, socialise and have fun!

This year we hope to continue to grow our competition with higher player participation from more schools. Therefore, we ask that you pass this onto as many children, parents and carers as possible. Spread the word and encourage all children from grade 2-6 to join a team.

This year we have altered the registration process, making it much simpler for schools and their sports coordinators.

Each student will be required to register into their corresponding team, according to their grade (DTA Primary 2/3/4 or DTA Primary 5/6), and the teams will be assigned by the DTA Commitee. Priority will go to grouping schools, and ensuring teams have a consistent number of players. Singlets for each team will be provided by the DTA.

Parents/Carers/Teachers are encouraged to contact the DTA directly if they have any preferences on who their child does or doesn't want to play with.

Please contact myself Jacinta, on 0456 587 706 or via email at devonporttouchfootball@outlook.com for any further questions.
