Primary Community News
Foundation (Prep-Year 2)
Prep A has been working hard on creating texts this term. We had so much fun making slime, playing with it and learning to write simple sentences about who made it and what we used. We are looking forward to publishing our work as a Prep A slime book.
The Preps went to visit the Jackson School chicks today!
Lower Primary (Years 3-4)
The past two weeks have been bustling with activity at Jackson School! Our swimming program was completed with Class 3/4A and 4/5A. Meanwhile, Class 2/3A and 3/4B were engaged in literacy and numeracy activities, which sparked their interest and supported their learning. To celebrate the Olympics, we held our own sports event where students participated in fun activities. We also promoted anti-bullying by encouraging everyone to wear purple, helping to foster a supportive and inclusive environment. Thank you for your continued support in making Jackson School a vibrant and nurturing place for our students!
Upper Primary (Years 5-6)
Upper Primary students had a wonderful time participating in Sports Day. They completed a variety of different activities including hurdles, egg and spoon race and high jump. We have continued with our Inquiry topic, materials and mixtures, investigating the changes that occur when solids and liquids are mixed.
