St. Mel's Netball

Huge good luck to our 13 & Under St. Mel’s Netball Team, who will be playing in the Grand Final this Saturday at 10:30 am. Regardless of the outcome, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of the girls. Their skill, commitment, and determination have been outstanding throughout the season, and they've truly exemplified the 'St. Mel's Way' both on and off the court. A big thank you to their families for their unwavering support.

Let’s all cheer them on and show our St. Mel's spirit! Go St. Mel's!

We will be celebrating the hard work of all our netball teams, along with our dedicated coaches and team managers, at the Netball Break-Up this Tuesday in the School Hall. It will be a great opportunity to reflect on the season, share memories, and thank everyone involved for their contributions. Don’t forget to RSVP as per the invitation sent home, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.

St. Mel's Soccer 

Our final soccer training session of the year was a joyful celebration of the dedication and effort our students, parents, and coaches have invested throughout the season. Against the backdrop of a stunning sunset, we came together not only to train but to share a memorable evening filled with laughter, pizza, and fun. It was a wonderful way to reflect on the teamwork and growth we've seen in our young soccer players.

A special congratulations goes out to our Under 12 team, who have made it into the semi-finals this season! Their hard work, determination, and sportsmanship have truly shone, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievement. 

Thank you to everyone involved in making this season a success, from our enthusiastic players to the supportive families and dedicated coaches. We look forward to many more seasons of growth, fun, and sporting excellence!

Stay tuned ~ as we will come together before the end of the term at school to present our players with their medals and officially thank our coaches & team managers. And of course, enjoy some pizza from our sponsors Pizza Plus!

VOLUNTEERING for our TEAMS

Thank you to all our parents volunteering in support of our St Mel's sporting teams. Parents who have not previously completed the documentation required to volunteer under Child Safe Standards are asked to visit the school website to download and complete the documentation OR collect a Volunteer Pack from the school Admin staff.

Return the documentation, along with your current Working With Children Check to the school Admin staff. You will then be contacted for induction.

Shepp Swans Junior Football ~ 

Are trying to raise money to rebuild their club rooms as they were completely underwater in the 2022 floods. Some of our St. Mel's Students play football for the Shepp Swans Club.
