Year 2/3

This term in English, our 2/3 students are learning how to write information reports. As a class, we are focusing on writing a shared report about iron. Through this activity, students are learning the key features of this text type, including how to structure an introduction, how to organise facts into clear sections, and how to write cohesive paragraphs.
Working together on a common topic allows students to see how information can be gathered, grouped, and presented logically. Later, they will apply these same skills to write information reports on topics of their own choice.
It has been wonderful to see the students engaged in researching, sharing ideas, and experimenting with ways to present their information clearly and effectively. We look forward to showcasing their completed reports soon.
