Library News

As Shane mentioned, on Friday we have Meerkat Productions presenting Freya Blackwood’s book A Garden of Broken Things for our Prep-Year 4 students.
The Garden of Broken Things is a masterfully composed, metaphorical tale that helps children understand both the value of the old and the young. It is told age-appropriately in tender words and watercolour, pencil and pastel.
Our library has many copies of this story and other Freya Blackwood stories to borrow.
Our Premiers’ Reading Challenge is still underway and concludes on the 5th of September. Everyone is still logging their reading and submitting some fabulous book reviews. One more week to go to add your books to the tally!
Thanks again to all of the families that have donated a book during Book Week. We have a fabulous new display of all of our donated books for everyone to read and borrow.
Happy reading folks!
