A parent’s feedback:
“On Friday 1st August, we attended the Sayembara State Indonesian Speaking Competition awards ceremony held at Melbourne High School.
It was a lovely presentation, with special guest dancers and award recipients from the Primary levels sharing old folk stories between the awards. Having studied Indonesian in Primary School previously, Brandon was placed in the Year 7 Continuing level. He practised regularly with Bu Devathas at school before the early rounds of the competition in May, before returning for the final at the end of June. His hard work was rewarded with a 3rd Place for the state in his division.

After the presentation we found an Indonesian restaurant nearby for some delicious food to finish off our night”, J Pearce, staff.
Congratulations to all students on their fantastic efforts.
