Club Update & AGM- 25th August 2025

We would like to inform you of some staffing updates:

• Our Club President, Brett Poppins, has resigned from his position. Over the past two years, Brett has given countless hours to the club and worked hard to support our swimmers, coaches, and committee. His contribution has been greatly valued, and we sincerely thank him for the time and effort he has dedicated to RSC.

• Wayne Lawes has stepped away from the club. We thank Wayne for his assistance and support over the past few months in the coaching space.

And a reminder regarding our upcoming AGM:

• As previously communicated, our Annual General Meeting is being held at 6.30pm on Monday in the clubrooms, and we encourage all members to attend.
• Representatives from Swimming Victoria will also be present to speak with members and answer any questions.

We are looking forward to a great summer swimming season here at RSC, and to continuing to support our swimmers to thrive and develop. Undertaking a recruitment process for a new Head Coach is on the top of our agenda for the coming months, and we’re pleased to share that RSC will be able to benefit from support from Swimming Victoria as we navigate the process – we will provide further updates in due course.
