SEL Leaders

Each week our SEL leaders attend a meeting with Miss Carr where they discuss

student wellbeing as well as other school wide issues and concerns. The SEL leaders discuss our Meadows Expected Behaviours and highlight which behaviours the school as a whole need to focus on. Last week the SEL Leaders picked the behaviour 'quiet in, quiet out'. They worked together to create a video modelling this behaviour that was then shown to the whole school at assembly. Respectful Relationships

the last few weeks in our classrooms, we have been focusing on topic 6 of the Respectful Relationships Program. Topic 6 is all about help seeking. To support this learning at home you could try the following activity to support student identify who they can go to for help:

 

Make a “hand” or “star” showing five people you can seek help from. Use it as your family plan by writing it up and placing it somewhere visible to everyone.

Parent Information Session

On Tuesday 16th of September we will be holding a parent information session about our Respectful Relationship Program. This will run from 9-10am in the old library space, next to the grade 3/4 unit.
