Mr Phill Holding

2025 Walkathon

Thank you for making Sunday’s Walkathon and Battle of the Bands a resounding success.

On behalf of Marist College Ashgrove, I extend heartfelt gratitude to every student, parent, staff member, and supporter who contributed to the energy and spirit of today’s event. Your enthusiasm and generosity brought our community together in a truly powerful way.

A special thank you to our P&F President, Donna Lynn, ADF Co-Ordinator, Lieutenant Colonel Jon Pollard, and Program Leader - Arts, Dr Andrew Butt, whose planning and dedication were instrumental in making this event possible. We are also deeply grateful to our incredible staff and parent volunteers. Your time, effort, and care ensured everything ran smoothly.

The annual College Walkathon, proudly hosted by our Parents and Friends Association, is their major fundraiser for the year. Every cent raised goes directly toward enhancing the experience of our students and families. Past projects have included the Tennis Courts, the Coffee Van, and the soon-to-be-constructed change rooms on Cameron Oval. This year, the P&F aims to support upgrades to student and spectator seating near the tennis courts/Hayden Oval and the top of Cameron Oval.

If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, there’s still time to support this wonderful cause!

Student Incentives:

  • Families who raise over $150 will receive a soccer/rugby ball (Primary) or a $20 Rebel voucher (Secondary).
  • If we reach our milestone of $45,000 (we are getting close), all students who have donated will go into the draw to win two tickets to the 2026 State of Origin.
  • If we surpass $60,000, the College will raffle an additional two tickets for all who have donated. You have to be in it to win it!

Thank you once again for your unwavering support. We are proud to be part of such a generous and spirited community.
