Golden Star Focus – Safe Play and Responsible Eating

This term, our Golden Star focus is on how we use our play areas and eating spaces responsibly. These everyday routines are an important part of our School-Wide Expected Behaviours, which remind us to show Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and positive Relationships in all areas of school life.

During playtimes, students are being reminded to play safely, share the space, and use the correct play areas. We also revisit what it means to eat respectfully — sitting in our designated areas, finishing food before playing, and placing all rubbish in the bin. These small but important actions help keep our playgrounds safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

Every time students demonstrate these positive choices, they earn a Dojo Point for our Golden Star. When the star is filled, our whole school will celebrate with a special movie afternoon!
