Well, the finish is here for the majority of the Year 12 students! Despite thinking it would never arrive, they have finally completed their schooling.
It is always interesting to see how each individual handles the final weeks of boarding. Many of those who can’t wait to leave sometimes end up being the students who really don’t want to go in the end.
Early in the week, Ms Sparks held an afternoon tea for the netball girls who represented us in the local competition, as well as for the male students who assisted in training and practice games throughout the year. From all reports, it was a fantastic afternoon.
Last night, Mr Jones oversaw an inter-dorm basketball challenge that was very well supported by everyone, with lots of courtside barracking and plenty of banter among the students. It was a great way to spend time with the exiting Year 12 students.
We wish everyone a very safe end-of-term break and look forward to seeing all the returning students and staff for Term Four.
