Teaching & Learning Update

Common Assessment Tasks (CATS) on Seesaw

Our students’ Common Assessment Tasks (CATS) are available throughout the term on Seesaw for families to access. These tasks are a key part of our ongoing assessment process, helping us track student progress and plan future learning. We warmly encourage you to read your child’s posts and leave comments. Sharing a “1 star” (something your child has done well) and “1 wish” (something to work on) is a powerful way to support your child’s learning journey. Research shows that family engagement in student learning significantly boosts student motivation and outcomes, your involvement truly makes a difference.

 Term 4 Planning This Week

This week, our teams have been planning for the next term in relation to teaching and learning. The teachers have spent time collaborating on the learning progressions for students in Literacy (Reading, Writing, and Speaking and Listening), Numeracy, and their integrated inquiry unit. To provide teachers with this valuable time, students have specialists teachers teach them on a particular day this week.
