Student Engagement

Welcome to Week 8!
We hope you are all doing well and excited for the school holidays!
The Resilience Project @ Home Workshops
On Wednesday night, we ran our first The Resilience Project at Home work. We thank all the parents who took the time out of their busy schedule to engage in this session with us.
If you missed out, we will be running another session in Term 4 on Wednesday, 8th October at 9:00 am - 9:45 am. Please keep an eye out for further communication.
These workshops will explore how families can bring the Resilience Project pillars, Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness (GEM), into everyday home life. Parents and carers will gain practical tools to support children’s emotional wellbeing, strengthen connections and encourage resilience.
We encourage all families to attend one of these engaging sessions and continue our GEM journey together.
GEM Leaders
Our GEM Leaders have been working behind the scenes, setting goals and identifying ways we can develop further as a GEM School. The leaders have set goals and worked towards achieving these during their sessions.
Some of the goals include:
- Creating a GEM Noticeboard
- Engaging in GEM Chats regularly
- Making GEM Videos to share
We will continue to meet fortnightly with the GEM Leaders, and we will continue to keep you updated about all our exciting happenings. In the meantime, here is a GEM Chat you can engage with your family at home this week.
We look forward to seeing many of you at our TRP@Home Workshop, and thank you for your continued support in building a strong, compassionate and resilient school community.
We hope you all have a wonderful and safe school holiday, and we look forward to collaborating with you next Term.
Warmly, Vicky, Bianka and Vira
