Home Readers

This term, we have been lucky enough to order new Home Readers for our junior school all thanks to our amazing PTA! 

Their funds have allowed us to order a whole new class set of home readers for all classes Prep-2. These new texts are a mixture of fiction non-fiction, cover a wide range of phonic phases and link to many of our children's literary interests! 

Additionally, we now have brand new decodable phonic books for reading sessions within the classroom. All books are currently being processed and bound, we look forward to sharing them with you in the coming term. Children will be reminded how to treat such property & encouraged to return all home readers to protect them. 

A HUGE thank you to the PTA for this incredibly generous purchase - we know the children will so benefit from brand new literature and support with their reading journey.
