Classroom Highlights: Learning and Growth in Action!
Maths
In Maths, our students have been strengthening their division skills, with a strong emphasis on decoding and solving word problems. This hands-on approach is helping them apply mathematical thinking in real-world contexts.
Alongside this, they have been balancing algebraic equations and exploring the order of operations using BIDMAS, deepening their understanding of how numbers and symbols interact.
A particular favourite was the escape room challenge, where pairs worked together to use estimation strategies in multiplication problems—making learning both fun and collaborative!
Literacy
In Literacy, weekly groups continue to foster independence and self-management, thanks to consistent activity styles. We are especially proud of the progress students have made in answering comprehension questions with full sentences, showing growth in both understanding and expression.
Year 4 Sport
On the sporting front, Year 4 has been enjoying T-Ball, a highlight in recent weeks. Students have demonstrated excellent sportsmanship on the field, and it’s exciting to see some emerging power hitters and strategic thinkers making their mark. Their teamwork and enthusiasm continue to shine through every game.
Bonnie & Ziggy
Adding to our positive classroom environment, therapy dogs Bonnie and Ziggy have continued to support Year 4 students throughout the term. They work hard alongside the kids and, judging by their well-earned naps, are definitely sleeping well at night!
PYP
Our PYP learners have launched an exciting new inquiry unit titled “How We Express Ourselves.” This unit explores the power of persuasion across various text types.
As part of this, students wrote persuasive pieces convincing readers that BNPS is the best school for their child. We are excited to share some of these creative and heartfelt examples with you. See below.

The education is wonderful because we get taught how to respect each other and know to laugh with someone and not at them. We get taught to think before you say anything and to make sure it is nice!

Are you looking for a school for your child? Well, B.N.P.S. is a place you will want to send your child. We have other friendly students, lunch clubs, and great outside spaces.
If you are wanting your kid to make friends, come to B.N.P.S.—everyone here is nice and friendly. There's also buddies, and preps go with a Year Five, Year Ones go with Year Sixes (they stay with the same buddy).
Does your kid want to stay inside for recess or lunch? Well, we have lunch clubs where you can draw with friends, along with chess club and running club.

Choose Beaumaris North Primary School
Beaumaris North Primary School is definitely the best school you are going to find in the area because of all the extremely inclusive and friendly kids, kind and helpful teachers, lunch clubs, and the exotic school grounds.
If you struggle making new friends, that won't matter at BNPS because of all the inclusive and friendly kids. They will be happy for you to join in their game or conversation.
The teachers here are kind and explain things clearly and will help you if you need some help or if you're confused. They also make learning really fun. Here at BNPS, you will always be on the right track for learning.
Do you ever get bored at lunch? Well, at BNPS you can't! The lunch clubs are there to solve the problem. There are so many exciting lunch clubs here like chess, mandala, and the run club—they are all worthwhile trying out.

Are you looking for a fun and safe school for your child? Then come on down to Beaumaris North Primary. We have incredible facilities such as a huge oval and amphitheatre, fun playgrounds, and two basketball courts—plus many more. Beauy North is also a perfect place for your child to learn and grow!
At B.N.P.S., we have outstanding teachers who make learning so much fun and understand students in need. They also respect students' differences and make you feel welcomed no matter who you are and where you're from. When you are feeling shy or overwhelmed, our teachers are always there.
We have incredible facilities, from a huge oval to clean toilets. Beauy North is also a ginormous school surrounded by trees and nature with a lot of space. If you want your child to have fun and be active during break, then they can play on our awesome play equipment or go and shoot some hoops on the basketball courts.
B.N.P.S. is also a great opportunity for your child to have the best education possible, because we have heaps of laptops and a humongous amount of books in our school library. In our school everyone is friendly and always someone to play with! Preps get buddies that help them find friends and do activities with them .Our school teaches us to be respectful and honest, and to look out for each other.

Bonnie is black and white coloured. Bonnie and Ziggy are REALLY friendly.

WHY YOU SHOULD COME TO BEAUMARIS NORTH PRIMARY SCHOOL
Hi I am going to tell you about one of the greatest and most amazing schools BNPS. Our school is great because we have the best facilities and we are an inclusive school, we also have an awesome and great sized school for everyone, our school is also really safe. Our school goes from Prep – Year 6. Our school also has two therapy dogs for if your child is feeling down. We also have really great and nice teachers. We also do a lot of specialist classes.
1.Of course you would want to come to BNPS because we have great facilities because we have good funding to buy laptops, basketball courts and an oval. We also have a lot of renovations on now.
2.Surely you would want to bring your child here because we do a lot of great specialist classes like art , Japanese , P.E , music , science and library. In art we do amazing art and crafts. In Japanese we learn Japanese, in P.E. we do really fun physical education. In music we do drama, singing, dancing and playing instruments. In science we do fun experiments and in library we read books .
I am sure you would want to come because we have great inclusion and if you feel sad go see Bonnie or Ziggy the two therapy dogs.

BNPS is a great school…
Have you ever wanted an amazing school to start at then you are in the right place. Beaumaris North Primary School is a perfect place for you! At our school everyone is so friendly especially the teachers. The school is clean and hygienic; we have lunch clubs to play at if you want a break from the playground at lunchtime.
Firstly, every single student and teacher is very friendly. If you are hurt, a teacher or student will come over and help you. Also they will always ask if you are okay and help you if you need. Our school promotes respect, so staff and students all get along and trust each other.
Secondly, our school is clean and hygienic. If you want a clean school, then we are the school to go to. At our school people do not leave rubbish on the ground at all. Also, the whole school does a clean up after lunch sometimes.
Thirdly, lunch club is really fun and you can even join the school choir. If you love to play chess then there is a club for you. Also there is a running club around the whole school and you can do as many laps a possible.
BNPS is an amazing school, since we have awesome lunch clubs, we are clean and hygienic and very friendly, student and staff Now surely you think this school is good for you kid.

Are you looking for a fun, lovely school then you are in the right place! Beaumaris North is the best place to start! Are school is so clean and hygienic, here there is no bullying, there are break out room if you need to calm down and so much more!
Firstly, our school is so clean and hygienic because we have to clean it every 5 weeks or so. And do you want your child to be nice and clean so that is why Beaumaris North is the best! At Beaumaris North are toilets are very clean, and most years get their own toilet!
Secondly our school has a no bullying policy- bullying is NOT TOLERATED. At Beaumaris North I feel like we don't know how to be mean. If it does happen, our staff will help. In Beaumaris we are one big family!
Thirdly our school has break out rooms. Where you can go if you need to calm down. You can go in there for tests. It bocks out all the noise so you can do your work Break out rooms let the person do work without distractions.
So, in conclusion Beaumaris North is the best school without a doubt, and we would love you to come and join us where learning is fun. I think you'll love it here, just like I do!

Do you know that BNPS has class rewards how cool is that. That's not all BNPS also has awesome supportive teachers and fun and exciting learning there is no way it's boring because there are heaps more fun engaging things to do in and outside school like camp and sport trips. If you are dreaming of coming here look no further its open!
BNPS is an excellent school because of its amazing rewards for good behaviour. Like time out you earn points then when you reach 10 points you get to cash them in and play outside. Each point is worth 1 minuet but that's not all we have certificates and many more for each grade. I strongly believe that these are good rewards worth you child coming here. Soon you will wish you went here.

Do you want to come to a fun, friendly school that offers a great education? Then come to Beaumaris North Primary School. At BNPS everyone is kind, there is no bullying and the teachers make learning fun, easy and there's no pressure.
Firstly, at BNPS everyone is really kind, especially the teachers. Because everyone is really kind it is easier to make friends. Everyone is caring and cares about you, and we all feel included.
Secondly, at BNPS there is no bullying. You're probably thinking every school says there is no bullying, but we actually have no bullying allowed. If you do get bullied you can tell the yard duty or class teachers.
Thirdly, at BNPS the teachers make learning fun. Not all learning is like writing or something on paper. Some inquiry activities are where you walk around the school on a treasure hunt. Also no activity is too hard or puts pressure on you.

Have you ever wanted your kids to attend a highly educated school? Well then BNPS is the right school for you. We receive an excellent education, we have Fun Friday, great support staff and more which I have listed below so read for more.
Firstly, we receive high quality education. For example in year 3 you will already have learnt vertical maths for addition, subtraction and multiplication. Also we have five specialists which includes P.E, art, music, Japanese and science. And to finish that all off we have library once a week.
Secondly, BNPS has a really cool thing called Fun Friday!!! Fun Friday is where after a tough week of school, for an entire hour... you just get to play games! What I like to do in this hour of fun is play chess with a friend or watch the movie on in the other end of the classroom. And sometimes you are aloud to go in a different classroom to play with different friends.
Thirdly, BNPS has an amazing group of support staff. If your kid is new or has a learning difference we will send out a support staff member. These friendly helpers are always around to lend a hand. Sometimes they help students with there work and sometimes they just make you feel better by taking you on a walk and a chat.
So in conclusion I think BNPS is an outstanding school. And as I explained before we have high education, Fun Fridays and an amazing group of support staff. So surely now you're thinking "Time to go to BNPS".

Are you looking for an educational school? Well Beaumaris North Primary School is the place to go! Our school is a PYP school, making it so your child can learn different things. We also have instrumental/singing lessons so your child can learn different instruments. Don't forget camp! Year 4's, 5's & 6's travel around Victoria learning and having fun! Beaumaris North is the place to be!
Firstly, a PYP school is a big drawcard. Most schools in the area aren't a PYP school. And you also have a long way to find one, so just go to Beauie North instead of doing a 30 minute drive. At a PYP school we are global learners!
Secondly, instruments galore! Our school has instrumental and singing lessons so your child can learn drums, piano, guitar or singing with Susie. There are also recitals, so you can watch your child perform and see their talents shine.
Finally, Year 4's, Year 5's and Year 6's travel Victoria learning and having fun! You may miss them but they'll come back within a day or two. Some of the places your child go to are ; Phillip Island, Adanac, Somers (optional) and so much more! The children and teachers spend time away from school, doing activities that aren't available at school, like canoeing, flying fox and giant swing, just to name a few!

Are you looking for a fun, friendly, and exciting school to join? Then Beaumaris North Primary School is the perfect place for you! At our school, everyone is included, and there are heaps of awesome things to learn and do. We have really cool and fun lunch clubs like Choir, Chess Club and Art club, We have the two best therapy dogs named Bonnie and Ziggy and have a really fun Buddy Program with the Preps and the Year 5's.
Lunch clubs in our school are absolutely amazing! We have a Choir for the Year 4, 5 and 6's for the people who like or want to sing on Thursday lunch time from 1:45pm to around 2:15pm and you get to perform at assemblies to everybody in the school and parents and teachers also watch and clap for you at the end of your song.
Our cute fun therapy dogs Bonnie and Ziggy can make you smile and make you laugh, Ziggy is from Mrs Carters class and Bonnie is in Mrs Badley so you are lucky if you get one of those teachers and hey are just the best and so fluffy.
Our buddy program is really good for the preps and year 5 because they spend time together doing activities and lots of other stuff and all of the activities are so fun and awesome and it gives a chance for the preps to have at least 1 friend.

Have you ever dreamed of you or your kids going to the best school of all of existence? Well BNPS is the right place for you. There are so many reasons why BNPS is a great school, but these are my top three: kind teachers, lots to do at lunch time and recess and we a PYP school so we are global learners. All teachers make you feel comfortable and safe and if you don't, we have break out rooms, where you can take a break and calm down. If you feel sad or worried about anything, our teachers are there to listen to you and make you feel better.
Here at BNPS we have lots to do at like time we have a full oval, which not all schools have. The oval has footy goals, soccer goals and a cricket pitch. On the other end of the school there's to basketball courts.
We also have Lunch clubs like chess, choir and run club. Run club is not competitive - you just keep a score of how many laps of the school you can do.
At BNPS learning is fun and exciting! There's no pressure when it comes to school work. We are a PYP school so we are life long learners and we have units of inquiry and transdisciplinary themes.
In my opinion BNPS is the best school in all of existence not just because I go to BNPS, but it’s because there's literally anything to do at recess and lunch and everyone is kind, fun and inclusive! If you're with Ms Carter or Mrs Badley, you're in luck! Ms Carter has a cute therapy dog named Ziggy & Mrs Badley has a cute therapy dog named Bonnie. Those 2 dogs can make you laugh & make you feel better.
On Fridays we have something called fun Friday. Every Friday we have 30 mins of personal learning. Personal learning is for 30 mins & its when you finish off your learning, then at 3:00PM we have fun Friday. Fun Friday is when you have free time in class. You can read, do craft, draw, write & play board games.

Well come and check out BNPS, a school that has amazing staff and teachers who will support you. We also have fun and entertaining lunch clubs that you can join with your friends. Last but not least, we have an amazing PYP approach to learning.
Now firstly, let me tell you more about our amazing staff. Well, if your child needs some extra help, our staff is happy to help. Our teacher assistants also will support you when you need it. Our staff will make sure that you feel comfortable, safe and happy if you are a new kid, or if you have been having trouble at school. Our staff are also super kind and caring.
Secondly, let me tell you more about our really cool lunch clubs. Well, if you don't know what to play on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday well those days there are lunch clubs available. Some of these clubs are choir, chess club, mandala or running club that you can do with all of your friends.

Are you looking for a school for your kids? Well you're in luck because I've got just the school and it will be perfect for your kid(s). There are therapy dogs called Bonnie and Ziggy, we have friendly teachers (and they're supportive) and we have SAT is a Student Agency Team which means our students get heard. And that's just three amazing things about BNPS and there are a lot more to find if you come to this school.
I'm sure you want to know more about our therapy dogs. If you do read on. Bonnie and Ziggy are so cute Ziggy's breed is a covoodle – poodle mixed with a King Charles Cavalier. She is so cute am I right? Ziggy belongs to Ms Carter in yr4C. Bonnie's breed is a bernedoodle. Bonnie's owner is Mrs Badley in yr4A. Also so cute am I right?
At BNPS we also have really friendly teachers and we have supportive staff all through the school. If you're worried that your child isn't supervised well no need to stress because there are yard duty teachers that are supervising your kid. The yard duty teachers carry around a first aid kit so your kid will be safe each day.
Here at BNPS (Beaumaris North Primary School) we have a Student Agency Team (SAT). Every year from yr3 to yr6 decides if they are going to stand up and do a speech(if not they are just the audience). Once everyone who wanted to run for sat we will have a vote which means that everyone gets a piece of paper writes a persons name, puts it into a cardboard box and finally at the end the teacher counts it up and announces it. The SAT reps help to organise fundraisers and special events.
BNPS is a fantastic school! BNPS has amazing therapy dog who helps to bring your kid in if they are a little nervous. We have amazing supportive teachers that teach you a lot of cool stuff and finally the SAT, that lets children gats heard. So, pack your bags and see you at Beaumaris North Primary School!!!

Do you what to come to the best school? BNPS is where you what to be! We have great lunch clubs like chess, running, drawing and choir. We also have two very cool therapy dog who are so friendly and always in a good mood. Our grounds are awesome, in fact better than most schools.
First let me tell you more about the lunch clubs. The first club is chess. It is on Wednesday 1:45pm you can learn and even teach someone how to play and there is even a competition sometimes. There is also a running club where you run around the school. We also have a choir along with an art club and it is all so much fun!
Now let's talk about the therapy dogs. First is Ziggy - she is a cavoodle and she is so kind. Next is Bonnie - she is a Bernadoodle. She is bigger than Ziggy but still very kind.
Lastly I will tell you about the grounds. We care about our grounds so we are having the basketball courts replaced an already had our oval repaired. We have areas for the younger students to play so they don't fell overwhelmed. The older students also have their areas that are more suitable for them. Children can play on the mounds.
BNPS is the best school. As I have told you, we have fun lunch clubs, very cool therapy dogs and awesome grounds... Plus, so much more. So, what are you waiting for? Come to BNPS -trust me you won't regret it!

Do you want your children to be happy at school? Then Beaumaris North Primary is the place to be! I have been at BNPS for two years and am currently in grade four. These are some reasons why I think BNPS is the best school. The most important reason is the wellbeing program. The wellbeing program has many great things. The three main things that are most important to me are the breakout rooms, therapy dogs and the awesome support staff. I will tell you more about the Breakout room and how you use it, the therapy dogs in year four and the assistant teachers.
Firstly, the breakout rooms. The breakout rooms are there if you need a break or time to think. The breakout rooms are in the Year 4 rooms and the Year 3 rooms. If something happens at recess or lunch like if you have any problems with friendship groups, you can talk privately with a teacher in there. Everyone is allowed in the breakout rooms. They are quiet and calm and it is easy to concentrate in them.
Secondly, in year 4, there is Bonnie a Bernedoodle & Ziggy the Cavoodle. They are trained therapy dogs. They are so friendly, cute, funny and always make you laugh if you’re not having the best day. They are found in 4C and 4A. They wear a cute little dark-green jacket to say that they are 'working' and their job is to support children and teachers. They are the best therapy dogs ever!
Thirdly, at BNPS we have awesome support staff! They come to classes with kids who need their help, and they help them with whatever they struggle with such as literacy, maths etc. Their names are Janine, Jenny and Amy/Miss Price. Janine is like a second teacher in Ms Carter's class!

Have you ever wondered if there is a school that offers a wide range of really cool things? Well there is! And that school is Beaumaris North Primary School (BNPS). BNPS offers Student Voice, Enormous Grounds, Prep/Year 5 buddies and heaps more! Your child will be included and easily make new friends.
Let me tell you more about the Student Voice. Once a year in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 everyone who wants to be in the Student Agency Team (SAT) gives a speech, and then everyone in the class votes. It's a fair system because you aren't allowed to vote for yourself. Only one person in the class gets voted in. If you do, you go to meetings and talk about what events you want to help organise, what fundraisers you could run and ways to improve the school.
Secondly, let me tell you about the enormous grounds. There is a 400m round oval and some seriously cool play equipment. In Winter we use the oval for Teachers vs Year 6s footy games. In Summer we use it for assemblies and the Christmas Concert. We have places for only the preps and their buddies and places for older kids as too! There is something for everyone!
Thirdly, let me tell you my last reason, The Prep/Year 5 buddies! Preps are buddied with Year 5s, and stay buddies with them until the Year 5s graduate from Year 6. Being buddies makes a strong friendship that isn't easily broken. Being a buddy builds the Year 5s confidence and gives the Preps someone to rely on.

Do you want your child to have great Education? BNPS is great for you! Don't believe me? Let me prove it to you. We have great staff, we have a great canteen and we have great Lunch clubs.
Let me tell you about the friendly teachers. I been at this school for 5 years! All my teachers are great and they really help me when I am stuck. The teachers are so smart and caring.
Ok now I want to tell you about the canteen! If it is a cold day there always hot food but if it is a hot day we have great yummy frozen treats. If you want your child to eat healthy food there is even pineapple! There are great drinks like apple juice & many more.
If you don't know what to do at lunch we have Lunch clubs like art, chess and choir. At choir we practise songs with our friends and we are hoping to be able to perform at assemblies and even out in public! At art club we are colouring our logo which is a Seahorse. We are going to put it together in a big puzzle. And at chess well you play chess and tournament.
Now that I have explained my three main reasons for why BNPS is a great school, I hope I have convinced you to come and see it for yourself so get in your car and drive to BNPS. We want your child to join our happy family!

Have you been looking for a great primary school? Look no further! BNPS is the school for you. It has awesome grounds like the oval and mounds. Also we have a canteen open on Mon, Wed and Fri and we have lunch clubs like chess club. Let me tell you more.
Firstly, we have awesome grounds like the oval for Years 1-6 and sometimes Prep. We have prep play areas too, as well as the spider web, basketball court, purple bars and turbo bars. These are some of the places you can play.
Secondly, we have a canteen and a canteen manager Jenny. She prepares all the food like butter chicken, mac and cheese, lasagne, sausage rolls, sushi, big pies and party pies. We also have some treats like Super Doopers, Moosies (banana, strawberry, blue moon and lime), mini muffins, chips and juice boxes.The canteen is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Thirdly, we have great lunch clubs. There are so many lunch clubs. There is chess club, mandala club, drawing club, choir and run club. They are all so much fun – there is one for everyone!
To conclude, BNPS is an amazing school because we have awesome grounds, an amazing canteen, great lunch clubs and so much more. SO GET DOWN TO BNPS!

Are you looking for a fun, welcoming and awesome school to join? Well you should DEFINITLY come to Beaumaris North Primary School. We have lunch clubs, really great grounds and we are soooo clean. Your child's journey through BNPS is going to be really great if you enrol here.
First of all, your child may be someone who is not a fan of playing outside at lunch, well then they can go to lunch club, (all clubs are during lunch), where you can draw, socialise and do many other cool things. There are other clubs too, like chess, choir, art and run club. Choir is on Thursday. If you sign up you will practise lots of songs that are voted on, learn how to change your voice to match the pitch of the song and.....Perform In front of the school!!! (on special occasions.) If your child is someone who is scared to perform In front of the school, well that is 100%.....OK!! That's where Suzie comes in, she teaches the choir! (and singing class.) She WILL help anyone who is scared AND she is reeeeeally nice. Chess club is on Thursday and you basically just play chess but in a really cool tournament! Run club is on Fridays. They are all soooo FUN!!!!
Secondly, the play equipment and playgrounds are soooooo great! The oval (nearly full size) has got soccer goals, football posts, a cricket pitch and areas to run around. Now, the playgrounds, we have got one for every part of the school. For the preps we have the mounds (hills of fake grass), the cubbyhouses, the sand pit, the pirate ship and two playgrounds (one shared with year-ones.) For the year fours we have the fake grass and the real grass AND the basketball courts (that's shared with the whole school.) For the rest of the school we have areas for little and big kids to play and run around, and trust me they really are the BEST!!!
Last of all, we are a really clean and hygienic school, obviously we have bathrooms but they are sooo clean! We have sanitizer in every classroom. We have a whole program on to stay clean and hygienic and we encourage every part of staying clean to prevent illness.
In conclusion, BNPS is an exquisite school!! As you have herd from my reasons we have lunch clubs, epic grounds and we are so clean and hygienic. So what are you doing still reading this?! Pack your bags and head down to BNPS now!!!!!!

Have you ever wanted a perfect school for child? Or a school that never has bulling? Well this amazing clean & hygienic school called BEAUMARIS North Primary School is AWESOME for you. Our school has lunch clubs if your child isn't a fan of playing outside. And Physical Education if your child loves playing outside.
We have loads more here too.
To start with our school (BNPS) is a very clean and hygienic school witch all students like. Every classroom has hand sanitiser. Sometimes Mrs Duffy (Our principle) calls an announcement if there is too much rubbish and we have to stop and clean up. We also have cleaners who come everyday after school.
Secondly, let me tell you about our really fun lunch clubs here. ( I think you'll like them) Well, to start with everyday except for Mondays, all year 4's and above have the chance to go to lunch club.
TUESDAY: ART CLUB
WEDNESDAY: CHESS CLUB
THURSDAY: CHOIR
FRIDAY: RUN CLUB
I'm sure your child likes at least one of these clubs. Plus it is really good for your body to get out to play at least once a week. Run club challenges students to try and beat their own record every Friday. With the support of their classmates. Chess club allows children to play chess with friends. And once you get better at it they have chess tournaments.
Thirdly, BNPS has great specialist classes with really kind and friendly teachers. The specialists we have are Music, Art, PE, Science and Japanese. I would rather talk about P.E. Because you get lots of fresh air which is good for lungs, exercise which is good for your body, & quality time with your friends. We also have a really kind and friendly sports teacher we call her Mrs Hall.

There is no other school in this universe that has these kind of playgrounds. Are you wondering if your child is going to be lonely at recess and lunch? If you are worried about your child having no friends, well you’re in luck because BNPS has a buddy program. Your child will not be lonely at all because Preps have a Year 5 buddy. You’re probably wondering what a Year 5 buddy is, right? Well a Year 5 buddy is a Year 5 person who gets paired up with a Prep and at recess and lunch the Year 5s show Preps around the school and help them make friends. So your child will never be lonely and if they can’t find their friends they can always find their buddy because on the their 1st day of school it is Buddy Day. This day is when you and your buddy sit down and chat and ask questions .
Don’t forget about the kindest teachers in the world. Don’t worry, they will give you lots of support in school.
