VET Pathways & Workplace Learning Update
VET/WORKPLACE LEARNING
Our Year 11 and 12 General students are currently out on their two-week work placements, gaining valuable hands-on experience in industries they’re interested in. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to explore potential career pathways before making important decisions around apprenticeships, further study, or full-time work. I look forward to visiting them on-site over the coming week.
Meanwhile, our Year 10 students have begun the process of exploring subject and pathway options for Years 11 and 12. In Week 9, they will participate in a full week of career-focused activities—including guest speakers, the Careers Expo, our Explore a Career morning, and the Careers Carousel. It’s an exciting time for students as they begin to discover where their interests may lead.
