1/2 Melbourne Museum

Last Thursday, the Grade 1/2 cohort took a tram ride to the Melbourne Museum.
We were on our best behaviour, listening carefully to our teachers and family helpers, which helped us arrive at the museum smoothly and safely.
Once there, we split into groups to explore different areas of the museum. Some of us visited the Melbourne Story exhibition, where we discovered artifacts that have shaped Melbourne into the city it is today. We also enjoyed Grandma’s Toybox storytime, where we learned about the different toys children have played with across generations.
Afterwards, we had lunch and enjoyed some time at the playground before catching the tram back to school.
It was a fun and educational day — we learned so much and had a fantastic time! A big thank you to all the family helpers, teachers and education support staff for making it such a memorable experience.
