Bogan Bingo Event
Well, it finally arrived: our Bogan Bingo event. What a sight—lots of flannel and Ugg boots, but more importantly, a night of fun. We have photos to share, and those who participated in our photo wall will be released to the attendees next week. A big thank you to Kim and the team at Galafrey Wines for their generous support of this event through the donation of prizes and the wine sold on the night.
I would also like to thank the school staff, in particular Mrs Julia Bairstow, for working with us to bring this event together, and Year Eleven student Colin Ferreira for taking the photos. Additional thanks to fellow committee members Mr Darryl Hancock and Mrs Stacey Murnane. It really was a community effort that delivered an event for the benefit of our community.
It was great seeing families come together and reveal our inner bogan traits. We look forward to planning more of these events in the future. Maybe next time, something a little more highbrow.
I'm looking forward to the DIGS event this weekend. It would be great to see a good-sized gathering. The weather is looking fine, so it should be a great event.
Please see the details below. If you haven’t already, please send your RSVPs to Mr Luke Murnane for catering purposes.
