Wellbeing Leaders

Our Wellbeing Leaders are busy connecting with all the children who visit the canteen during break time on Fridays. They enjoy greeting everyone with a smile while also lending a hand to Mel and Stella.

I CAN Imagination Club

We have been fortunate to welcome Bec, Rachael and Rachael's dog River, to run sessions at Holy Cross each Monday for a group of our children. These sessions focus on building confidence and encouraging them to say, "I CAN."

Each week, the children share positive experiences, reflecting on moments when they felt empowered to say, "I can do that." Below is a brief description of the Imagination Club and a video of Rachel sharing her own  "I CAN" story.

The ‘I CAN Imagination Club®’ is a Mentoring program for students who are Autistic, or who have learning differences / experience social anxiety. The core focus of the program is for students to build an ‘I CAN’ attitude by enhancing students confidence, optimism, sense of belonging, acceptance and empowerment. Families can find resources about supporting children with learning differences here: https://icannetwork.online/online-resources/#. Online social Mentoring programs outside of school are also available: https://icannetwork.online/online/
