We have made fantastic progress in our reading journey! Our focus this term has been on:
Writing
In writing, we have learnt how to create narratives! The students have enjoyed writing their own stories with characters, settings, and exciting events. Along with this, we have focused on:
Maths
Our mathematicians have been busy this term. Here’s what we’ve covered:
Inquiry – Olympics in Paris 2024
Our inquiry unit has been all about the Olympics. We learned about the history of the games and the inspiring athletes who competed, including the incredible Paralympians.
The students created posters about their selected athlete, showcasing their hard work and creativity. It was wonderful to see them engage with the stories of perseverance and teamwork.
We are so proud of what our Year 1s have achieved this term! Thank you for your continued support and encouragement at home. We look forward to more exciting learning next term.
