We are excited to be back in the BER building. Well done to Learning Community 1 (Prep to Grade 2) for their resilience with all of the recent changes. The grades had very little notice that they were moving back into their classrooms. We still need to set the Library learning space back up but the students are at least back in their classrooms. The toilets have been finished today and therefore the Grade 2 students will be able to have their sleepover in the BER building. A huge thank you to Kate Stoll, John Wigg and Jane Guy for their organisation of the Prep/1/2 dinner and the Grade 2 sleepover. Also, thank you to the additional teaching and ES staff who have volunteered to support these events. Ms Stoll, Mrs Wahl, Mrs Sever and myself are hoping to get some sleep tonight.
School Council:
A reminder for School Council members that our next meeting is on Monday night at 6pm.
Bullying - No Way!
Our School Captains - Sophie, Sean, Max and Bryce - have been busy organising our Anti Bullying week for next week. The official week was whilst we were running our swimming program. As part of the weekly activities each teacher has been provided with a lesson to teach and a focus for each day. Our School Captains have also organised a chalk activity and a letter activity where each class fills in a letter from this year's slogan of Everyone Belongs. On Friday students are encouraged to wear purple and take part in a short parade.
Special Assembly:
This week we have an assembly on Thursday at 3.10pm for our Glee Club to give a performance. The assembly will be held in the school hall.
