ISS Summer Sports Basketball and Newcomb 

Newcomb: 

Well done to our Grade 5/6 girls who came together to form our Newcomb team for Interschool Sports! With only a couple of weeks to practice, they took every chance to train at most recess and lunch times which showed when they won their first two games (out of four) for the day. Throughout the day they showed great sportsmanship and shared lots of smiles and laughs, well done team! 

Basketball A & B Grade: 

Alfie, Deon, Hudson, Max, Ryder and Tyson represented Bunyip in A Grade basketball Tyson , Kobi, Harlan, Atlas, Jaxon, Levi and Jai played in the B Grade team. The boys competed against seven other schools and demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, winning all four of their games and securing the top spot!

The energy was electric, with the crowd rallying behind our boys and erupting in cheers, especially during the Grand Final when Alfie scored a thrilling 3-pointer. A special shoutout to Max for also sinking a 3-pointer! Tyson was a driving force in the B Grade team, leading them to the grand final win.

Congratulations to the entire teams on these fantastic achievements. 

The A Grade boys will be heading to the district competition on the 18th of October. We are all cheering for you!
