Year 12 IBDP Final Day and Examinations
The Year 12 IBDP students’ final day of school will be this Friday 27 September. The occasion will be marked with a farewell breakfast (7.45am in Hodgkin Hall) to which the students and their teachers are warmly invited.
The Year 12 IBDP examinations will commence on Monday 21 October and finish on Monday 11 November. The students have received their examination timetable along with important information about the running of examinations. Release of results information was also shared on Tuesday. This information has since been shared with families.

Footy Colours Casual Dress
Friday 27 September
Casual dress tomorrow Friday 27 September in Footy Colours or Theme and bring a gold coin donation to raise funds for the annual Fight Cancer Foundation Footy Colours Day. Join in the Longest Kick Competition on the Bottom Green during lunchtime, with prizes for the longest kick!
Schools Triathlon Challenge - Swim / Bike / Run
The 2024 Schools Triathlon Challenge (STC) will be held in Hobart (Bellerive Beach) for Secondary Schools and Colleges (Years 7-12) on Thursday 28 November 2024. The STC is aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle choices to school students regardless of ability, sporting background or current lifestyle. Participation and enjoyment are at the foundation of this event.
The cost is $25 which will be added to your School fee’s account. The cost is the same for entering in individual, team or both events.
ALL STUDENTS MUST ENTER THEIR INDIVIDUAL DETAILS - EVEN IF ONLY COMPETING IN A TEAM. Please make sure you enter the correct details of your teammates and that everyone has confirmed that you are a team.

Year 11/12 Holiday and Swotvac Study Planners
As we come to the end of Term 3, it is time for students to think about how they will engage in a proactive revision program in the lead up to the external examinations. Students can consider how to act on the advice provided by their teachers throughout the year, especially following the August examinations. What strategies can they put in place to address any gaps in their knowledge to best prepare for the end of the year?

Art Club
Do you love Art and want to develop techniques and creative thinking? The group offers students the opportunity to extend their art making practice in a number of forms which include but is not limited to: drawing, paint, photography and sculpture skills. Materials are provided, come and enjoy a stimulating pursuit with people who love Art. Students from Year 7 to 12 who would like to join co-curricular Visual Arts, should contact Luke Edmunds.

Staff-led Exchange Trip to Germany 2025
After receiving sufficient expressions of interest in the staff-led exchange to Germany in April 2025, interested students and parents are warmly invited to an information evening in the Senior School library at 7pm on Thursday 26 September.

Old Scholars’ Memorial Grant for Year 11 Tuition 2025
Applications for the Old Scholars’ Memorial Grant are now open. The Grant is open to current students, continuing on to Year 11, who have an alumni connection in the previous generations (e.g. parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc). There is one grant of $4,000 towards Year 11 fees in Term 1 2025 for a student who is academically sound, an active participant in the life of the School and strong in service. Applications can be submitted online by Monday 28 October at 4pm.
