SCS Eisteddfod 2025
A large number of students from Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 have been rehearsing for the annual SCS Eisteddfod. Students from St Anthony’s will be performing in the following sections:
Infants Dance
- Year 1 Dance Ensemble “Beautiful Life”
- Year 2 Dance Ensemble “That’s How We Do”
Primary Dance
- Year 3 Junior Dance Ensemble “Conga”
- Year 4, 5, 6 Intermediate Dance Ensemble “Boogie Fever”
- Year 5, 6 Senior Dance Ensemble “Confident”
Large Vocal Ensemble
- Year 3, 4, 5, 6 STA Choir “Somewhere only we know”
Self Devised Drama Group
- Year 6 Cast A “Dance Dads”
- Year 6 Cast B “The Goat”
The following rehearsal schedule will continue this term:
Tuesday 8am - Yr 1 Dance
Tuesday Lunch - Yr 2 Dance
Wednesday 8am - Yr 4,5,6 Dance
Thursday 8am - Yr 5,6 Dance
Thursday Recess - Choir
Friday 8am - Yr 3 Dance
Year 6 class time - Drama
An Event notice on COMPASS will be sent out shortly for final consent for travel and details for the buses. It will also include the billing of $100 for all Dancers that was explained in the original permission note. A costume note will also be sent out in the next few weeks. Unfortunately parents are not allowed to attend on the day.
All STA Eisteddfod groups will be performing for parents and friends at our school on Friday Afternoon 20th June in Week 8 at assembly.

Dance Ensemble - INFANTS Thursday 29 May Year 1 and Year 2 Mount St Joseph Catholic College Milperra
Students need to be at school at 6.30am to travel to the venue. They will return during the school day and will be picked up at normal time.
Students need to wear their dance costume and sneakers with their STA sports jacket and track pants if needed. Girls' hair needs to be done. All students should bring a small bag to carry water, lunch box and hat. The bag should also include their dance shoes and the rest of their sport uniform to get changed back into when they return to school. |
Dance Ensemble - JAZZ Friday 30 May Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 Dancers Mount St Joseph Catholic College Milperra
Students come to school at normal time. They will return after the normal school day has finished at approximately 4.30pm.
Students need to wear their sports uniform to school over the base parts of their costume. Girls' hair and light makeup needs to be done. All students should bring a small bag to carry water, lunch box and hat. The bag should also include their costumes, dance shoes, hair and makeup touch ups. |
Vocal Ensemble - CHOIR Thursday 12 June Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 Choir St Patrick's College Sutherland
Students come to school at normal time. They will return after the normal school day has finished at approximately 3.30pm.
Students need to wear their choir uniform with their STA sports jacket. Girls' hair needs to be done. They should bring a small bag to carry water, lunch box and hat. They will not need other school equipment that day. |
Drama Ensemble - YEAR 6 Thursday 19 June Year 6 Class Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood
Students need to be at school at 8.15am to travel to the venue. They will return during the school day and will be picked up at normal time.
Students need to wear the base of their drama costume with their STA sports jacket. They should bring a small bag to carry water, lunch box and hat and any other costumes or props needed for the performance. |
