DIO Cross Country

Congratulations to all our Cross Country runners who attended the Diocesan Cross Country in Barraba on the 9th April. It was a great day with everyone doing their best. Well done to Charlie Bradford, Jock Knapman and Georgina Grimm for finishing inside the top 10 and congratulations to Ari Mallon, Tom Johnson, Angus Hinchcliffe and Anna Beer who qualified for the NSWCPS Cross Country in June.

AFL Trials  

Zac Tunbridge was among 54 boys from across the state who participated in the AFL trials. He had an incredible day and found the experience to be truly rewarding. The selectors noted that the competition was quite competitive. Although Zac didn't make the final 22 this time, he is looking forward to trying again next year.

PSSA Swimming

Congratulations to our St Xavier's swimmers who attended the PSSA Swimming championships. 

Banjo Fitzgerald

Bronze Medal - 11 yrs 50 Butterfly. Banjo will be off to Nationals (SSA) later this year with that awesome achievement. The School Sport Australia (SSA) Swimming Championships will be held in Ballarat on 25th -29th October, 2025.

 11 yrs 50m Freestyle - Placed 15th 

Junior Girls Relay Team

Millie Lyle, Matilda Ramien, Belle Nichols and Zoe Riordan

Silver medal. They went into the finals with the fastest qualifying time of 2:21.68. In a nail biting final they narrowly missed out on first place, but swam a very impressive 2:21.96.
