Hello, Welcome to Week 2!

Hello everyone, I hope you have had an amazing start to the term. 

This week has been a busy week for everyone. The Year 5 & 6s went to the 93rd Legacy ANZAC Commemoration Ceremony for students at the shrine. We had an awesome time there. We learnt so much from our guide John, who took us around the inside of the Shrine, telling us stories and every little detail of each monument! If you were at assembly today you would have heard our three Year 6s Stella, Callum and Bridget talk about the day there.

Then on Thursday, we had the District Cross Country. Most of the 3-6’s participated in the event. Congratulations to everyone who competed - we know you all tried your best! A special shout out to Evelyn in 4P who won the 9/10 years 2km run.

Another big accomplishment in the Wilson family goes to Callum for coming in 2nd place by 15 milliseconds in the State 50m freestyle race!

Starting off today, we have our Year 5s and 6s and some of the Year 4s who have inter-school sports, so it’s a very big good luck to teams. Some will be playing AFL and the others will be playing Netball. We wish them all good luck and lots of fun!
