Beachside Cross Country & Soccer Lightning Premiership Update

Over the past week, our students have shown incredible resilience, sportsmanship and school spirit across two major sporting events.

Firstly, a huge congratulations to all of our Beachside Cross Country participants who braved wind and rain to represent St Joseph’s with pride. Despite the cold and wet conditions, every student competed with determination and smiles all around. Their positive attitude was truly inspiring, and many came away with personal bests and great achievements. We are so proud of the way they carried themselves throughout the day!

Last Friday, our Year 6 students participated in the HOLT Soccer Lightning Premiership, and what a day it was! The event was a fantastic celebration of skill, fitness, and perseverance, with our students playing multiple games and giving their all in each one. The day was full of fun, excitement, and great team spirit.

A huge thank you to the parents who came along to support, Rod Sutton for his time coaching the boys team and our teachers who came along to help support and coach the students.

We are proud to share that our Boys A Team finished as runners up, while our Girls A Team took out the Championship Shield! Meanwhile our B teams were superb, competing throughout the day, achieving some fabulous results. This is a tremendous result for the school, and the girls will now go on to represent St Joseph’s and HOLT at the Beachside Division on August 12.

Well done to all involved, your effort and attitude were outstanding!
