St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal

At St Joseph's, we are continually inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus - especially His compassion for the poor and vulnerable. As a faith-filled community, we are called to follow in His footsteps by showing kindness, generosity, and love to those in need.

This Winter, we are proud to once again support the St Vincent’s Winter Appeal, a wonderful initiative that directly helps individuals and families within our local area who are doing it tough.

In the spirit of social justice, we are inviting all students and families to contribute non-perishable food items and toiletries to this important cause.

Each classroom will have a dedicated basket where donations can be placed.

Our Year Six Social Justice Leaders, will be helping to coordinate the appeal, working closely with Adrian from our local St Vincent de Paul branch to track and organise the school’s contributions. All donations will be presented to the St Vincent’s volunteers on the last day of term - Friday, 4th of July at School Assembly.

Donations can be brought to school from Monday, 2nd June to Wednesday, 2nd July.

A list of suggested items has been provided by our local branch to guide families in what is most needed during this time.

We thank you in advance for your support and kindness. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of others.
