Green Team News

Last Friday, the Green Team enjoyed a productive session in Brendan’s Garden. The students enthusiastically harvested fresh capsicums, snow peas, and eggplants—some of the season’s finest produce.

Alongside the harvest, the students learned about flower bulbs—what they are, how they grow, and the best way to plant them. They then put their knowledge into practice by planting a variety of daffodil bulbs in the centre garden bed. We look forward to seeing a beautiful display of blooms in spring.

We were very grateful for Maureen’s assistance by collecting zucchini seeds from the spiky seed pods and packaging them into small bags for students to take home, encouraging them to try growing their own vegetables. A big thank you to Maureen for generously giving her time and sharing her knowledge to support and inspire the Green Team.
