Running Late?
Students who are not collected by 3.45pm cannot be supervised by office staff. We encourage enrolment in our outside school hours care program run by Kristen and the team from Team Kids. Once enrolled, the service can be utilised for those unexpected late pickups.
Absences
Is your child unwell? Will they be absent for other reasons? Please ensure you add an attendance note in Compass as soon as possible.
Notifying of your child’s absence prior to or on the day of, supports the safety and wellbeing of children and fulfills your legal responsibility.
Students without an attendance note will have the role marked as ‘Not Present Unexplained’.
Late Arrivals
Late arrival? All students who arrive late to school must be accompanied by a responsible adult. A child that arrives late without supervision will be marked as ‘late unexplained’.
Early Pickup
When your child needs to be collected early, we remind you that this is often disruptive to the class environment. We recommend the early pickup of students to be at the start or end of recess (10.40am/11.10am) or lunch (12.50pm/1.50pm), and where possible, please avoid early pickups on Fridays from 2pm due to our circles program and weekly assembly.
Also, please note, that in most circumstances, we do not allow students to wait in the foyer for collection.
If a student is to be picked up by a person other than their parent(s)/immediate guardian, please ensure you give consent via email to the school or a written note to the office giving authority for the person specified to collect your child. Please also ask that person to carry identification.
Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund applications (CSEF)
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.
If you have a valid means-tested concession card, such as a Veterans Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible. There is also a special consideration category for asylum seeker and refugee families.
Payment amounts this year are $400 for eligible primary school students. Payments are made direct to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions and sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
Please complete the attached application form and attach a copy of your concession card and return them to the office by the end of February 2026. If you require assistance, please contact the school office on 9752 7953.
