A Wonderful Start to the New School Year

We are so excited to welcome everyone to a brand-new school year! It has been a joy to see how well the students have settled into their new class and classroom. They have shown enthusiasm, confidence, and a willingness to learn as they become familiar with new routines and expectations. Our classroom focus this year is on being kind and respectful to one another, listening carefully, and following instructions so that everyone feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

The students have also had a fantastic time participating in swimming lessons. It has been wonderful to see their excitement, confidence, and enjoyment as they develop new skills in the water and cheer each other on. These sessions have been a great way to start the year with fun, teamwork, and positive experiences.

Reading at home plays an important role in supporting your child’s reading development at school. We encourage families to spend time reading together regularly, as this helps build confidence, fluency, and a love of reading. Our library day will be on Mondays, and home readers will be ready to go home around Week 5. Thank you for your continued support in making reading a positive and enjoyable experience.

As we move forward, we will soon be transitioning into our regular school routines. This will help provide structure and consistency as we continue our learning journey together. We also kindly ask that all student items—such as uniforms, hats, and other belongings—are clearly labelled. This greatly helps us return lost items to their rightful owners. We are very proud of the positive start the students have made and look forward to a happy and successful year ahead!
