We welcome back all VPC students to the start of the new school year.

Term 1 has started with our VPC students displaying renewed energy and focus while developing consistent routines as they attend classes.  The standard, expectations, relationship building and boundaries have been established for both students and VPC teaching staff.

As a team we will be held accountable for our actions, as it is our collective and shared responsibility to ensure our students leave school with basic life skills to enable them to achieve their best in the real world.

Some of the highlights during the week include the following:

  • VPC and Year 10 pathways students have worked tirelessly and with dedication in prepping materials in the wood workshop to construct sitting tables for the Hazelwood Estate Community Project and Life Skills. The students worked as a team and focused on safety in handling equipment and followed specific instructions. We are proud of their efforts and enthusiasm

  • The application and integration of numeracy skills, work-related skills, personal development skills and literacy in the wood workshop empower our VPC students to gain valuable life skills

  • Our Year 12 VPC students attended the Melbourne Museum's Road to Zero program on Tuesday 10th February 2026, as it addresses the Personal Development Skills, Literacy and Numeracy outcomes of the VPC curriculum. Here are highlights of the Road to Zero Program which took place at the Melbourne Museum:
