Important Information for Families – 2026 Permissions, Platforms and Communication

As we prepare for 2026, we would like to share some important information with families regarding student permissions, digital platforms, and communication processes.
Sentral Access and Communication
Sentral remains our main platform for school communication and administration. Through Sentral, families can:
- Receive school notices and updates
- View the school calendar and upcoming events
- Report student absences
- Make payments
If you have not yet received your Sentral student access key via email, please contact the school office and we will be happy to assist.
Sentral Calendar
The Sentral calendar provides up-to-date information on key dates, events, and school activities. Families are encouraged to check this regularly. You can also download this year’s calendar directly to your device by clicking the iCal link available in Sentral.

Messaging Teachers and Learning Community Leaders (LCLs)
Families are encouraged to use Sentral to communicate with classroom teachers and Learning Community Leaders. This supports consistent, timely, and well-documented communication.
Consent for Photographs, Filming and Recording
Our 2026 Consent for Photographs, Filming and Recording of your Child form has now been published on Sentral. Families are asked to review and complete this consent as soon as possible. These images may be used for learning documentation, newsletters, and school communications.
Local Excursions Consent
The 2026 Local Excursions Consent form has also been published on Sentral. This allows students to participate in local walking excursions and nearby learning activities throughout the year without requiring individual permission each time.
2026 Laptop Structure
As part of a new Department of Education initiative, the school will be providing managed student devices for students in Year 3 from 2026.
Students in Years 4–6
Many families in Years 4–6 have already purchased their own device under the previous model. We ask that students in Years 4–6 continue to bring their current device to school each day.
This will:
- Support a smooth rollout of the new DET initiative
- Prevent unnecessary replacement costs or disruption for families
Ensure learning continues without interruption while school-managed devices are being implemented for younger year levels
If your child in Years 4–6 does not have a device to bring to school, the school will provide one for use while at school.
If you have any questions about devices or your child’s specific situation, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
