P&C Association

What is the P&C?
The P&C Association is a group made up of parents, citizens, teachers, and sometimes students within a school community. It works to support the school by fostering cooperation between parents and the school, raising funds, and contributing to decisions that affect the school environment.
Purpose of the P&C
- Support the school through fundraising activities to provide extra resources and facilities.
- Represent parent views on school policies and programs.
- Organise community events to strengthen relationships among families, staff, and students.
- Assist in school planning and contribute to enhancing student opportunities.
How can parents get involved?
- Attend P&C meetings, typically held monthly during school terms.
- Volunteer for P&C events, fundraisers, or committees.
- Stand for elected positions on the P&C executive (President, Treasurer, Secretary, etc.).
- Share ideas and feedback to improve the school community.
Benefits of involvement
- Influence decisions that impact your child’s education and school facilities.
- Build connections with other parents, teachers, and staff.
- Support your child’s school experience in a positive, meaningful way.
The first meeting will be held on Tuesday 17 February in the school hall at 9.30am. This will be the Annual General Meeting where P&C members (you can join on the day) can stand for elected positions and vote for parents/carers to take up these positions.
If you want to get involved or learn more, you can usually contact the P&C 2025 or through the school office.
