In Music Prep, Grade 1, 2C and 2D students have been learning about music terms that relate to speed and volume. Ask your students if they can show you what ‘Allegro’ (a speed word) looks like and what ‘Piano’ (a volume word) sounds like.  They may remember other words too! ‘Rest’ is the favourite word of our instruments at the end of a very busy lesson.  Students are also learning to sing and play instruments together; we may have some budding musicians or singers among them.

Students in all Prep, Grade 1, and Grade 2 classes are invited to join the junior choir. We meet on Friday, for the second half of lunchtime in the Music/Chinese room to sing some fun and silly songs together. Let your student know to listen for an announcement.
