Year 1 News

The Year 1 students have begun their next Unit of Inquiry ‘How the World Works’. They have been discussing how the weather affects our lives and the environment. Throughout this unit they will also explore the meaning of weather, the way the weather affects the way we live as well as the daily changes in weather patterns.  

During the past two weeks the students have been lucky enough to visit the Science room and work with Mrs Jones to explore rain, clouds and temperature. They have enjoyed participating in hands on experiments and have made their own windsocks.
