RESOURCE CENTRE
We are NOW OPEN!
The new Resource Centre officially opened its doors to students on Wednesday February, 7.
We had lots of happy faces coming in to visit and look at and use the new space.
Over the last couple of weeks Year 7 and 8 English classes have been coming in to have a library orientation.
Students have been enjoying learning about the library, completing a scavenger hunt and borrowing books.
The study pods have been a very popular space for teachers and students to book for tutoring and private study throughout the day. VCE students have been enjoying a quieter space to study during ITP and making use of the whiteboards in the classroom spaces too.
We were excited to be meeting our new ‘Library Warriors’’ this week who will be learning more about the daily tasks and ins and outs of the library. Library Warriors will soon learn how to help staff in the library during lunchtimes and work towards a library goal of theirs.
Lunchtimes have become a popular hive for students to come in to read, study and play games. With Quiet Wednesdays being very popular with students needing a break from the noise of outside.
