What is LEARN?

LEARN Instructional Model

At Gisborne Secondary College we use the LEARN Instructional Model. An instructional model is used by teachers to outline the phases of a lesson or series of lessons. 

LEARN was developed at GSC by the teaching and learning team across a number of years using evidence-based practice and research. The LEARN instructional model is used to support student learning and develop consistency of teaching practice at GSC.
