In the Art Room...

Prep -2 students have been exploring lines, one of the elements of Art. They practised drawing different lines and either painted or used oil pastel techniques to create some colourful artwork. 

They then transferred this knowledge into creating a sculpture which explores form, another element of art.

Prep/1 A students created different 3D lines from pipe cleaners, beads and straws attached to foam bases, while 1/2A manipulated paper strips into various forms of lines. Aren't they striking?

The 3/4 students have been exploring indigenous art and have been inspired to create their own.

Year 5/6 students have been experimenting with watercolour techniques and are currently working on their own watercolour painting. Stay tuned... it's a work in progress!
