New Staff

Jeshua Wilson joins us from Bentleigh Secondary College where he has been working for the past two years.  Jeshua’s expertise is in the Maths / Science (Physics) area. Jeshua brings international experience having worked in both the US and Japan. Jeshua also specialises in VCE Information Technology.  As a member of the tutor team, Jeshua is offering an extension course in Coding.   

Jade Short is possibly no stranger to many teachers as she was a former student of HHS.  Jade joins the Food Technology team supporting Shelley Morley and Gayle Shelley.  She brings great organisational skills and an amazing creativity noted in her cake design business.  

Caera Moises from Pakenham Secondary College joins the HPE and Science team. Previously, Caera  held the role of  Year 7 / 8 team leader and she will take on the Year Seven manager role for Terms 2 and 3.  Her leadership experience will certainly be an asset.   

Samantha (Sam) Prosenak joins HHS from Koonung Secondary College where she worked in both the HPE and Humanities domain.  Sam is a passionate sports person and has held the position of the interschool sports coordinator.  Sam will be guiding our VCE History students as well as teaching in the Humanities and English departments. Students will enjoy her love for and skills in netball.  Yet another win for the PE Department!!! 

Nikita Aldridge returns to HHS following her work at the Yarra Ranges Council as a youth worker.  Nikita is excited about her new support role in wellbeing where she will be able to share her great network links.  Nikita has also worked as a social emotional wellbeing worker at Oonah.  Her local knowledge and passion for her support role will be a great benefit to wellbeing and our students.

Mary Toney joins us from Wodonga Secondary College.  She will partner Ms Katsi in the promotion of Japanese as a subject, Mary introduces yet another area of sport support as she currently is noted as an ultimate frisbee champion.   She will also join the English team.
