CAMPS in Term 3

At ARPS, our school's camping program provides students with opportunities to build relationships in a setting in school and out of school, starting in Year 2 with an overnight sleepover at the school during the last weeks in Term 3.

Students in Year 3 and 4 attend a two day ‘adventure’ camp, and then they progress to a more independent and self-reliant camp in Year 5-6. The focus of all camping opportunities is on the development of independence and self-confidence as the students have opportunities to broaden relationships beyond their immediate friendship group and try new experiences.

All of our Camps occur in Term 3 this year. We aim to have every student attend and are providing parents with this early ‘heads up’ reminder so that costs may be considered when budgeting for future family plans this year.
