Our students have been exploring the beautiful world of landscapes through painting and oil pastels, drawing inspiration from renowned artists Albert Namatjira and Claude Monet. As they experimented with colour, texture, and blending techniques, students learned how artists create a sense of depth by showing objects in the foreground, middle ground, and background. It has been wonderful to see their creativity and confidence grow as they developed their own unique landscape artworks, while also appreciating the different ways artists capture the beauty of the natural world.
