The latest Student Leadership Meeting, hosted by the Mission Advisory Council (MAC), brought together key student representatives to discuss new ideas for school activities and initiatives. The meeting focused on student engagement, with reports from the Student Engagement Liaisons.

The Student Engagement Liaisons opened the meeting by presenting insights from their meetings with class captains from each year level. These discussions revealed a variety of suggestions for improving student life, ranging from lunchtime activities to house competitions. House Leaders then shared their perspectives on these ideas, providing additional context and recommendations.

The meeting delved into a range of potential lunchtime activities. The aim was to develop events that would encourage student participation and create a sense of community. Competitions and themed days were among the ideas discussed, with a focus on activities that would engage a wide range of students. The collaborative spirit among the participants was palpable, with everyone contributing to the conversation.

A special thank you goes to Xavier and Molly for chairing the meeting. Their leadership ensured a smooth flow of discussions and kept the focus on the most relevant topics. Alice, who took detailed minutes, provided a clear record of the meeting's outcomes. Jake, who served as an excellent timekeeper, ensured the meeting stayed on track.

Amber and Jeymayar began the meeting with a prayer, which was particularly meaningful given that the meeting fell near ANZAC Day. Their thoughtful words set a respectful tone and reminded everyone of the importance of community and remembrance.

The ideas and themes developed during the meeting will now be refined and integrated into the school's activity calendar. With a collaborative approach and a shared commitment to enhancing student life, the Mission Advisory Council (MAC) is poised to bring a new level of energy and enthusiasm to school events in the coming months.
