Inquiry Centre

Highlight

Selamat Siang,

It was great to see everyone looking their best on Wednesday for school photo day!

What superpower do you think is the best? The students in the Inquiry Centre have been working on their persuasive writing. Ask your child to tell you which superpower they think is the best and why! In mathematics sessions across the week, students have been practising their addition skills and using different strategies to help them solve problems. Some of these strategies include using concrete materials to visually represent addition, using number lines to jump, and skip counting.

In Wellbeing, we discussed different events and what level of problem they are. Students created their own catastrophe scale and these will be appearing on Seesaw soon. Finally, our Guided Inquiry topic for the term is History. This week the students began their first rotation activity to explore a particular topic. The rotations that we will be looking at over the term are toys, shops and money, school and fashion, transport, and technology. We wonder how these things have changed over time?

We hope you have had a great week,

Emma, Suzie, Miss Shaye, Amanda, Miss Emmett, Kate and Mrs Season.
