Independence Centre

Highlight

Selamat siang 3/4 families!

This week we have been practising subtraction, using materials and drawing different ideas to prove the answer. We used MAB, counters, numberlines, vertical subtraction and the VW strategy. Keep an eye out on Seesaw to learn about these strategies!

A highlight for Dexter was when we were finding strategies in Maths! Marley would like to add to that because she enjoyed turning those strategies into tutorials. One of Emma’s highlights was writing and learning about the difference between facts, opinions and feelings.

Something we are looking forward to is Cross Country today - we are excited, nervous and feeling powerful!!!! We are also extremely excited to begin debating next week (3/4B have started this week when debating the winning team in soccer during PE). It’s still a hot topic of discussion!
