Year 5/6 Interschool Cross Country ~ 

Yesterday our Upper Students represented the school with such great pride at Interschool Cross Country and everyone participated in some form of running/walking. 

As a school we were awarded with two flags:

- St. Mel's won the age group for 12/13 Green Girls 

- St. Mel's won the age group for 12/13 Red Girls

 

We have two children invited to participate in the next round of Cross Country on Friday 17th May.

Hayley Austen- 11 year Girls

VOLUNTEERING for our TEAMS

Thank you to all our parents volunteering in support of our St Mel's sporting teams. Parents who have not previously completed the documentation required to volunteer under Child Safe Standards are asked to visit the school website to download and complete the documentation OR collect a Volunteer Pack from the school Admin staff.

Return the documentation, along with your current Working With Children Check to the school Admin staff. You will then be contacted for induction.

 

St. Mel's Soccer 2024 

Training ~ Wednesday nights 5.30 to 6.30pm. See below for details. 

Game Day Soccer kit-

  • SHIN GUARDS. Must be worn by all players. (The school has some spares if required.)
  • Soccer boots or sneakers. (Lis has some second hand boots at school)
  • Black shorts.
  • Black or Dark coloured socks.
  • St Mel’s Stars Soccer Team Shirt. The remainder of these will be handed out this week at school. Shirts must be returned to Chris D at the end of the season.

St. Mel's Netball 2024 

UNIFORM:  

  • St Mel’s Netball dress or St Mel’s Singlet  
  • Black sports shorts (NO POCKETS) or black bike shorts. 
  • All hair must be tied back away from there face. 
  • Sneakers 
  • Water bottle
