Cross Country

Well done to our 10 - 13yr old students who competed at the Oceanic Cross Country carnival. Our students did a fantastic job representing themselves and the school, showing some great Tally Way spirit. Well done runners. 

Congratulations to Eva who won her race, Winnie who came 5th and Marly who finished in the top 10.  All three girls are now off to the South Coast carnival.  Good luck girls.

Sporting Achievements

Congratulations to Winnie who was selected in the Oceanic soccer team. Well done Winnie and good luck for the South Coast trials. 

Free Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon Sport

Our free afternoon sport will kick off in week 4 of this term and run for 4 weeks. On Tuesday's starting on the 7 May will be athletics and on Thursday will be field hockey. These sessions are held on the school oval and provide an opportunity for students to trial a new sport before signing up to club sport. These sessions are completely free and are funded by the Australian Sporting Commission Sporting Schools program. A qualified coach will run each of these sessions and a Tallebudgera State School staff member will be there to assist with supervision. Parents are invited to come and watch the afternoon sessions. Parents must collect their child from the school oval.
