CONFIRMATION

Last night we had over 50 parents, students and sponsors join us for our Confirmation Faith information session. It was great to have families spending time together and engaging in conversations around baptism, and confirmation.

Next Tuesday, the students will meet with the Bishop, where he will further discuss the significance of the confirmation name they have chosen and what the day will look like.

Confirmation for Grade 6's Sunday 28th April 10:30am

RECONCILIATION

STOLES:

We have twenty three students who will be doing their First Reconciliation this year.

Next week, each student will receive a white stole, that will be used during the Reconciliation ceremony. Please note that this stole will also be used at your child's First Holy Communion and Confirmation. It is customary that a symbol of Reconciliation is put on the stole.

You may wish to utilise the service offered to our school by Mrs Trish Gangi, who decorates the stole for a small fee. There will be forms that will be sent with the stole if you are interested. The symbols will also be displayed in the school office. Of course, you may wish to decorate your child's stole yourself.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

ANZAC Day is an important national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that commemorates the sacrifices and contributions made by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) during World War I. The day is observed every year on April 25th and includes a range of events and ceremonies, including dawn services, marches, and wreath-laying ceremonies. ANZAC Day is a time for reflection, respect, and gratitude for the brave men and women who served their country and made the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow citizens.
